LED Equivalents
All bulbs in the Acty can be replaced with LED equivalents for improved brightness and longer life. LED bulbs run cooler and draw significantly less current, which reduces strain on the aging wiring harness.

Turn Signal Flasher Relay (for LED Compatibility)
If you convert the turn signals to LED bulbs, the stock thermal flasher relay will cause the signals to flash too fast (hyperflash) or not flash at all, because LEDs draw far less current than incandescent bulbs. Replace the stock relay with an electronic LED-compatible unit.
The EP34 from Standard Motor Products is a direct-fit 3-pin replacement for the stock flasher relay on most 1990–1998 Acty trucks. It is designed for conventional incandescent bulbs. For LED turn signals, look for an electronic flasher relay labeled as “LED compatible” with the same 3-pin configuration, or use load resistors in parallel with each LED turn signal to simulate the original current draw.
