DIY Adapter Using Wix 42305
You can adapt a standard Wix 42305 to fit the Acty housing without printing using this method (credit: D. Lopez / FB Honda Acty Enthusiasts):
- Use a box cutter to remove the paper filter from the OEM filter housing, exposing the tube with holes.
- Squeeze the metal tube in the middle evenly until the top cap pops off the OEM filter.
- Use a wire brush or chisel to remove any remaining glue and paper from the top cap.
- Install the Wix filter using the top cap and wing nut.
