Standard US SAE batteries will not work with the Honda Acty. Modifications are required to fit the Pencil Post (JIS) terminals.

The stock terminals can be spread to accommodate the larger size posts of SAE batteries. The use of SAE to Pencil Post (JIS) battery terminal adapters is recommended.
